Developmental Milestones and Activities
- Developmental milestones help us to spot delays that need our attention. Our concern may best be centered on delays that persist. We may then be able to pinpoint the specific skills that we might want to target for assistance. A course of treatment might be chosen that follows the developmental trajectory outlined by milestones. Helping a child to follow a learning path shared by most other children might be the best way to prepare them for school success and adult life.
