Yummy Waffles Sentences
Directions:
- There are two screens for each event in the story.
- In the first screen the student clicks on each question box to choose the answer.
- This activity is meant to be errorless.
- In the second screen the student uses the answers to the wh- questions to write sentences about the event.
- Best practice would be to complete the question and writing portions with your student.
- Click on the "Start Over" button to reset the boxes and return to the questions.
- Click on the arrow to go to the next page.
- The purpose in this activity is to break down the text in each event and encourage the student to focus on the meaning of individual words. Hopefully, the redundancy and repetition within the activity will help to strengthen strategies for meaningful recall and analysis of events.
